How Two Brand Films Gave Evoke Early Learning
a Digital Presence That Matched Their Reputation

Evoke Early Learning is a Victorian early education provider with centres in Clayton and Albert Park, both built around the world-renowned Reggio Emilia approach to education. Their philosophy centres on children exploring their natural curiosities in an environment that nurtures a unique and deeply individual development journey.

Despite extensive waitlists and strong demand from families, Evoke’s digital presence had fallen behind. The centres were exceptional. The content representing them online was not.

They approached Fixon Media Group to change that.

THE CHALLENGE

Two exceptional centres. One outdated digital presence.

Working closely with Evoke’s approved provider Charles McDonald and centre managers Mandy Blasby and Tracey Davey, two core challenges became clear.

The first was communicating Evoke’s core principles – safety, quality education, and the joy of learning – in a way that felt genuine rather than promotional. The second was an imbalance in how the two centres were represented online. The website featured video content for Albert Park only, leaving Clayton effectively invisible to prospective families researching their options.

Both problems had the same solution: two brand films, one for each centre, built to tell the real story of what happens inside them every day.

THE sOLUTION

Let the children tell the story.

We proposed two brand films. One for the Clayton centre and one to replace the outdated Albert Park video, each crafted to feel like a genuine window into life at Evoke rather than a polished marketing piece.

The strategic decision was to put the children at the centre of both films. Through their play, their learning, and their interactions with each other and their educators, prospective parents could envision their own children in the space.

For Clayton, the brief specifically called out the centre’s vast enclosed outdoor playground, a major drawcard for parents, and the film was designed to showcase it prominently. For Albert Park, the focus was on reflecting the centre’s upgraded facilities and evolved learning programs, replacing footage that no longer represented what the centre had become.

THE RESULT

Two centres. One consistent story.

The Albert Park film brought a fresh and modern perspective to a centre that had outgrown its previous content. Parents could see clearly, through the children on screen, the quality of education, the warmth of the environment, and the range of learning experiences available from newborns through to four-year-olds.

For Clayton, the film was transformative. For the first time, both centres were represented equally online, giving the Clayton team the same ability to attract and convert prospective families that Albert Park had always enjoyed. The enclosed outdoor playground, one of Clayton’s most distinctive features, was given the prominence it deserved.

MOVING FORWARD

Content that works as hard as the educators inside.

The two brand films now sit at the heart of Evoke Early Learning’s digital presence, giving every prospective family who visits the website an immediate and authentic sense of what both centres offer.

For an early learning provider where trust is everything, having content that genuinely reflects the quality of the environment is not a nice-to-have. It is essential.
