Red Hill Candle Co. is one of the Mornington Peninsula’s leading tourism experiences, known for their signature scented candles that capture the essence of the region. Their products are stocked in airports across Australia and adored by locals and travellers alike.

As the business evolved into new offerings, including bespoke perfume workshops, charm-making experiences, and an expanded retail space, Red Hill Candle Co. partnered with Fixon Media Group to bring these exciting developments to life through video.

The Challenge

The goal was to create a suite of videos that reflected the same level of craftsmanship and sensory depth that defines Red Hill Candle Co.’s products.

We needed to capture the essence of these new experiences in a way that would not only draw customers into their store, but also inspire them to feel the beauty, warmth and creativity of the brand. Each video had to be tailored for a different use case – social media, paid media, website integration and even television news – while maintaining a cohesive brand identity.

The Solution

Our approach was to craft a suite of five videos, each serving a clear marketing purpose:

  • A reel highlighting the new perfume workshops and the sensory experience behind them.

  • A reel introducing their new charm-making workshop, showing the creativity and joy it offers customers.

  • A store showcase reel capturing the refreshed layout, new products and in-store ambience.

  • A 60-second hero video designed for media and television distribution.

  • A website feature film spotlighting the perfume workshop experience in a more cinematic format.

Filming took place over a single half-day session with the Red Hill Candle Co. team and several stand-in customers to authentically showcase the interactive nature of each experience.

Our priority was to preserve the warmth, charm and premium feel of the brand. We used a mix of natural and artificial lighting to reflect the sensory calm of the candle and perfume experience, ensuring that every frame felt inviting and refined.

The Result

The campaign delivered exceptional engagement across social media, with multiple videos reaching thousands of viewers and driving strong awareness ahead of launch.

On launch day, the new workshops sold out, reflecting the buzz generated by the video campaign. The 60-second video was even featured on 9 News, giving Red Hill Candle Co. statewide exposure.
