DOCUMENTARIES

Some stories deserve
more than two minutes.

We produce feature documentaries for stories with the weight and truth to earn a national audience. Our debut documentary aired on Fox Sports, Kayo, and SBS. That’s the standard we build to.

OUR FILMS

It all starts with a story.

Every documentary we make starts with a story we believe deserves to be told. These are the two we’ve told so far.

2024 - 60 MINUTES

Six: The Story Behind a History-Making Achievement

After equaling Fergie Speakman’s record of five Stawell Gift victories, coach Brett Robinson takes on his greatest challenge yet – to make history with a sixth. A story about resilience, ambition, and the relentless spirit of a coach determined to leave his mark.

2026 - 45 MINUTES

That Race

Thirty years after the 1996 Stawell Gift Women’s 400m Final, the athletes who lined up beside Cathy Freeman reunite to relive the race that defined a generation and continues to echo through Australian sport.

Premiering October 2026

THE STANDARD

What it takes to make a documentary worth watching.

We don’t approach documentary work the way we approach brand films. These are different beasts entirely. Longer timelines, deeper research, and a level of editorial rigour that brand briefs rarely demand.

01

The story has to be worth telling.

For a documentary to be a success, it needs to have story worth telling that is strong enough to sustain an audience for an hour. If it isn’t, we’ll tell you.

02

Production built for streaming.

Our films have aired on streaming platforms and national TV. Every technical and editorial decision is made with that standard in mind from day one.

03

Emotionally honest filmmaking.

We find the human truth inside every story. The tension, the doubt, the connection; these are the things that make an audience lean forward rather than look away.

HAVE A STORY WORTH TELLING?

Tell us what story you have to share.

If you have a story that you believe deserves to be seen by a national audience, we want to hear it. Documentary projects start with a conversation, not a brief. Tell us what you’re thinking and we’ll tell you honestly whether we think it has legs.
