SPORTENG is a leading company specialising in the planning, design, and construction inspection of fields of play for all sports.

With a portfolio that includes iconic projects like the 2018 Commonwealth Games venues, the home of the Matildas, and Optus Stadium, SPORTENG’s reputation in the sports infrastructure sector is unparalleled.

When Peninsula Grammar sought to install a state-of-the-art sporting facility, complete with a world athletics certified athletics track and FIFA certified artificial pitch, they partnered with SPORTENG to bring this vision to life.

The Challenge

The challenge was to create a film that not only highlighted the incredible work SPORTENG had done, but also captured the emotional depth of the project.

While it could have easily been a straightforward project highlight film, we needed to tell a story that resonated emotionally with prospective clients while showcasing SPORTENG’s expertise and the strong relationship with Peninsula Grammar.

The Solution

To meet this challenge, we proposed a social proof brand story film that blended two distinct yet powerful perspectives.

The first was the business perspective, demonstrating the scope and success of the project like a case study.

The second was the customer perspective, presenting a heartfelt testimonial from the client, Peninsula Grammar.

This combination allowed us to create a compelling narrative that demonstrated the high standards of the facility while also showcasing the strong, long-term relationship between SPORTENG and Peninsula Grammar.

During production, whilst filming interviews with key Peninsula Grammar staff, we were faced with the midday sun, which made controlling the lighting for interviews a difficult task.

To combat this, we used large diffusers to soften the harsh sunlight. While these diffusers were visible in the shots, we meticulously masked them out in editing, ensuring the final product maintained the high standard we set for all our work.

The Result

The final film is a visually stunning piece that not only highlights the world-class nature of the sporting facility but also shares the emotional connection between SPORTENG and their client. Interviews with key stakeholders from Peninsula Grammar reveal how SPORTENG’s expertise and commitment played a vital role in bringing this project to life.
