Two children from Evoke Early Learning playing in Albert Park

Evoke Early Learning Bring To Surface What True Early Education Is

Evoke Early Learning are a Victorian early education provider who encourage children to explore their natural curiosities in a manner that stimulates a unique development journey.

Their childcare centres, located in Clayton, Victoria, and Albert Park, Victoria, are home to the world-renowned Reggio Emilia approach to education.

Although the centres were experiencing high demand from parents, with extensive wait lists, Evoke Early Learning’s digital presence was becoming outdated.

The Challenge

Through our discussions with Evoke Early Learning approved provider, Charles McDonald, Clayton Manager, Mandy Blasby, and Albert Park Manager, Tracey Davey, it was determined Evoke were facing the following challenges:

  • A struggle to communicate their core principles of safety, quality education and fun learning arrangements.
  • A one sided highlight of their centres, with their website only having video insights of their Albert Park location.

The Solution

We proposed the creation of two brand films, a unique type of corporate video, produced in a manner that tells a relatable story to viewers and ignores the push marketing material as seen in commercials.

Two brand films were to be crafted, one for Evoke’s Clayton centre, and one to replace the outdated Albert Park video.

In doing so, both centres would be equally highlighted on the Evoke Early Learning website. This would allow for prospective parents looking to find a childcare centre for them, the ability to learn equally about the two unique centres available at Evoke.

It was important for Evoke Early Learning’s brand films to communicate their three core principles.

To do this, we focused on the children of their centres, as the story tellers. Through their play, education and learning viewed throughout the films, parents were able to envision their own children in the centres, playing with the children on screen.

The Result

Albert Park

Albert Park’s previous highlight film was old and outdated. At the time of its production, it perfectly captured the facilities of Evoke’s Albert Park centre.

However, with time, albert Park’s facilities were upgraded and updated. Learning programs were changed, and new staff brought in.

Through our brand film video production of the Albert Park centre, we were able to successfully communicate with parents the high standard of quality education that Evoke Early Learning provides.

Parents were able to gain valuable insights into the learning outcomes and methods their children will experience at the centre. From the ages of new borns, through to 3 and 4 year olds.

The Albert Park brand film brought a fresh and modern perspective to the centre, attracting parents and their children for years to come.

Clayton

With the original focus of Evoke Early Learning’s website on their Albert Park venue, the creation of a brand film for Clayton was a breath of fresh air for Mandy and her team.

It ensured that both centres were able to attract a similar demographic of families, and held a consistent digital image – something that was previously very difficult to achieve due to the one-sided approach.

One of Clayton’s major selling points for parents is their vast outdoor space, featuring an all enclosed playground. This was captured during the film to highlight that no matter the weather, the children at the Clayton centre are able to get outside and play.
